We absolutely enjoyed our time at the property! It was clean, in good shape, and well-maintained. I loved that each bathroom was stocked with many extra towels, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, hair dryer, etc… much like a 4 to 5 star hotel. Location and overall setting was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a large house with many sleeping beds with an outdoor hot tub. We were fortunate to use the hot tub located on the property. However you should ask if it is available for your stay. We also wanted a view of mountain vineyards; and we got just that. The house was a beautiful vacation/escape from the city. When renting the house, you get a list of local tips from the property manager, and I highly recommend using some of their suggestions. The listing description is very accurate regarding the location. Listing photos accurately reflect the rental’s appearance and amenities. We loved the fire-pit, hammock, hot tub, large kitchen and dining room. They even had small speakers in dining/living area that plugged into our iPhone / iPod. The owner/property manager is very helpful in answering all our questions and concerns. I’ll definitely recommend this property to a friend or relatives. So many nearby activities, attractions and restaurants.

We had our immediate family and closest friends stay all together for our wedding, and Moon Mountain was perfect. We rented the Main House and the Vineyard View Cottage, which accommodated everyone nicely. The views are spectacular, the caretakers were very helpful, and everyone loved the property. The kitchen was great for cooking for a large group. The privacy of the Sunset Suite was perfect for my husband and me. We also got great reviews on the outdoor shower with a view. Thanks so much for everything!

Wonderful Setting for our Anniversary Celebration
Our stay at Moon Mountain was great! I appreciated all the details of the house including the bottle of wine you gave us. Cheers!

Moon Mountain was perfect for a 50th Birthday Celebration
We had 13 people staying at this fantastic property. We brought our own chef and he found the kitchen superb. The bedrooms were comfortable and the rooms large enough for lounging and visiting. The location was perfect for wine-tasting, and grocery stores were convenient. Of course the weather was gorgeous, so we sat on the veranda every morning. The pictures do not do it justice. The property was clean and well-maintained and it was easy to work with the listing agent. I would recommend it to anyone. We’ve rented properties all over the world, and this was one of the best experiences we’ve had.

Vineyard View Cottage:
My friend and I just wrapped up a girls trip to Napa/Sonoma. We had wanted to stay at a place that had more of of an authentic “Wine Country feel” versus a hotel. This was IT. We had a FABULOUS time here. The view was spectacular, the accommodations were perfect and the seclusion was awesome (no cell reception, internet, etc. – complete freedom from every day lives). It was just wonderful. The two chairs on the deck (overlooking the vineyards) were just perfection. The home is literally situated at the top of a mountain with views of Sonoma one one side and Napa on the other. Suggestion: Wake up early and watch the sunrise. Absolutely stunning. Reviews really helped us plan every step of our trip and I couldn’t resist leaving one here as well; Stay here if you are looking for that wine country vibe. Yes, it’s a little off the beaten path – but worth it! Beyond that, the owner was a pleasure to communicate with as well.

My husband and I stayed in this cottage for my 55th birthday. It has an awesome view of the Sonoma Valley. It is surrounded by vineyards. Everything about the cottage is fabulous, including the oh-so-comfortable bed! You will have total privacy here. We loved our mini vacation and will return again in the spring.
